Позже она была ликвидирована правительством Юлии Тимошенко, после чего правительство Николая Азарова постановлением №477 от 21 июня 2010 года Украины решило вновь создать ее в системе Госкомзема.

Начальником инспекции был Александр Бредихин.Он занимал должность первого заместителя начальника Госинспекции по контролю за использованием и охраной земель с 7 апреля 2003 года по 23 декабря 2009 года.

Основными задачами Госземинспекции были:

участие в пределах своих полномочий в реализации государственной политики в сфере земельных отношений;

организация и осуществление госконтроля за использованием и охраной земель;

обобщение практики использования законодательства по вопросам, входящим в ее компетенцию, разработка предложений по его усовершенствованию.

Среди видов обеспечения в Перечне указаны гособлигации, долговые ценные бумаги; правительственные гарантии; облигации Государственного ипотечного учреждения; средства в иностранной валюте.

Иными словами, если основным обеспечением является недвижимость банка или его собственника, а в качестве другого обеспечения используется не входящее в Перечень имущество, то НБУ до 31 декабря 2012 года имеет возможность изменить условия стабилизационного кредита, предоставленного банку для поддержания ликвидности.
